People

Engineers who embed in your team and stay. We recruit technical resources; then work with you on long term retention. Engineers within your team, or a whole managed team with a delivery lead.

Problems We Solve

Hiring engineers

The people you need are scarce, and the ones you can find are expensive. Filling a role should not take a quarter.

Scaling a team

Delivery needs to grow faster than local hiring allows, and every new role restarts the same search.

Covering a skill gap

A stack or specialisation the work now needs that no one in-house has.

Losing continuity

Contractors rotate and take the context with them; the team resets instead of compounding.

48 Hour Recruitment, on the Clock

We recruit continuously rather than per-request, which is why a shortlist can reach you in days when a local search takes months.

How We Work

Every engineer we field has cleared a bar our recruitment team applies and our engineering team reviews. Continuity is most of what people mean when they say quality, so the bar is only half the system; keeping people is the other half.

30-Day Replacement Guarantee

If a placement is not working, the 30-day replacement guarantee means we fix it.

Companies commit to Adaca and the way we work, and candidate selection follows from that commitment. You are buying the system that finds, assesses and keeps good engineers, rather than gambling on a single CV.

Common Questions

How much does an engineer cost?

One monthly rate per engineer, all in. It covers recruitment, employment, payroll and retention, so there is no separate placement fee and no recruitment cost when someone is replaced.

Rates start at AUD $4,000 a month for a junior engineer, $5,500 for mid-level and $7,000 for senior. Junior means two to four years of experience, mid-level four to seven, and senior seven or more. The stack you need moves the figure within those bands.

How long is an engagement?

Engagements run to a set term, chosen up front: three, six, nine or twelve months. A 30 day starting period is available where you want to confirm the arrangement works before committing to a longer one.

The term is a commitment on both sides, so there is no termination for convenience partway through. Shorter terms are usually the better starting point for that reason: you can extend at the end of one, and you cannot exit the middle of one.

What hours do engineers work?

The hours your team works. Engineers adjust to your working day rather than holding a fixed offshore window, so a team in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane works with people who are online when they are.

Who owns the code and the intellectual property?

You do. Intellectual property is assigned to you on payment, and that assignment is written into the contract rather than left to custom.

Your code stays in your repositories, under your access controls, unless we agree otherwise.

What happens if an engineer is not right?

Tell the delivery lead and we replace them inside 30 days, at no cost. The guarantee is fixed on every engagement and it is not negotiated.

The month-one review is the formal checkpoint for this, though the earlier check-ins at one day and one week exist so a mismatch surfaces before a month has passed.

Is there a minimum team size?

No. Engagements start at one engineer, and headcount moves with what the work needs.

Can engineers access our production data?

Only where the work genuinely requires it, and we recommend against it as a default. Most engineering work does not need production data, and non-production environments are the safer path.

Where access is necessary, we recommend it happens on a device your organisation issues and controls. That keeps the controls in your hands rather than ours.

Engineers work on managed devices with ISO 27001 security practices embedded. As a firm we are aligned to ISO 27001 with certification in its final audit, and we meet SOC 2 Type 2 requirements with the audit pending.

How quickly can someone start?

You see a shortlist within 48 hours of the first call, of senior candidates who have already cleared our technical bar. Work typically starts in week two, once you have interviewed and accepted.
